In early February 2026, BIHR’s Founder and Director, Dalia Qumsieh, participated in a week-long advocacy visit to the United Kingdom at the invitation of CAFOD. The visit included a series of briefings and engagements with parliamentarians, the Church, church-affiliated institutions, and civil society actors.
During the visit, Dalia addressed the latest developments on Israeli annexation policies in Palestine, with focus on Bethlehem, and their direct impact on the remaining Palestinian Christian population. Dalia also outlined the accelerating realities on the ground that threaten what’s left of the 1% Christian population, emphasizing the urgency of international attention, action, and accountability under international law.
