On Friday, May 9, 2025, the Balasan Initiative for Human Rights (BIHR) held the General Assembly Meeting 2025 and convened a successful session to introduce its newly elected board members. This important milestone marks a renewed phase of institutional growth, strategic alignment, and continued commitment to the protection and advancement of human rights in Palestine.
The session was led by BIHR’s General Director, Dalia Qumsieh, and supported by Project Coordinator, Amir Almufreh. Together, they presented BIHR’s ongoing work and outlined upcoming priorities across the legal, advocacy, and capacity-building sectors.
The new board members were also introduced to BIHR’s operational structure, values, and key projects, including those focused on community-rooted advocacy, youth engagement, and the protection of Palestinian Christians’ presence in their homeland.
