The podcast series “Roots and Rights” is produced by the Balasan Initiative for Human Rights – Palestine, in cooperation with the Heinrich Boell Foundation – Palestine and Jordan. The series seeks to guide its audience through some critical human rights issues facing Palestine today, hosting expert guests and featuring case examples. The podcast series includes 10 episodes, addressing Israel’s annexation policies of the occupied Palestinian territory, land rights, de-development and its impacts on youth and emigration, religious and cultural rights, civil status under Israel’s color coded ID system and their impacts on Palestinians on both sides of the Green Line as well as on the Palestinian Diaspora, including in refugee camps.
