From November 17 to 24, 2025, BIHR’s Founder and Director took part in the Vive Palestina event in Santiago, Chile, organized by the Palestinian Community. The event spanned several days and featured multiple educational, cultural, and sports activities. BIHR Director delivered briefings and lectures in the Palestinian Club, and in the Catholic University and the University of Chile. The lectures addressed major topics, including Israel’s annexation policies in the West Bank and the recent escalation on the ground.
Moreover, the advocacy visit featured BIHR’s engagement with civil society groups, and speaking in an event for a group of women from various backgrounds on the reality of Palestinian women under occupation and genocide. During this session, Dalia highlighted the systematic violence against Palestinian women that is eroding the social fabric of Palestinian communities and reinforcing a broader regime of control that targets women’s fundamental rights, agency, mobility, and sense of safety. BIHR also screened its short film, The Hidden War on Palestinian Women: Checkpoint Diaries, which features testimonies from Palestinian women on the violence and sexual harassment inflicted on Palestinian women who cross these illegal military checkpoints daily.
