On July 15, 2026, BIHR joined a meeting between The Elders and Palestinian civil society organisations in the West Bank, hosted by The Carter Center. The Elders described the meeting as a powerful reminder of the courage it takes to defend human rights and document reality on the ground. Despite growing Israeli occupation restrictions, intimidation, and in some cases sanctions, organisations like BIHR continue their vital work in documentation and reporting from the field.
