This week, H.E Consul General of the United Kingdom Ms. Helen Winterton visited the Balasan Initiative for Human Rights, where she was briefed by its Director, Dalia Qumsieh on the current situation in Bethlehem governorate, in light of accelerated Israeli annexation policies.
The briefing was followed by a field visit to one of the sites in Beit Sahour that overlooks a newly established and expanding Israeli settlement “Yatziv”, demonstrating drastic impacts of settlement expansion on Palestinian communities in the eastern parts of thr governorate.
